To our Dearest Supporters of Salon Rage

To our Dearest Supporters of Salon Rage;

This newsletter comes from a deep place in my heart filled with appreciation, gratitude and love. When I opened Salon Rage on March 02 of 1998, I truly had no idea how fortunate I would be. From day one at the Redwood Shopping Center, the community not only accepted Salon Rage, but it encouraged and supported my vision.

My vision at that time was just like the movie “Field of Dreams”….if I build it they will come. And came you did. So much that three years later, while I was expecting my daughter, we had outgrown our space at the Redwood Shopping Center location. For those of you that know me really well, you might say that I couldn’t change it or move stuff around anymore, therefore I had to find another space as I love to rearrange. On September 23, 2002 Salon Rage opened the new location at the old landmark Painters Nest. From the front door to the back we gutted the entire inside and built a salon so beautiful and unique that the business grew even larger immediately. We went from a team of 15 to 50 overnight. My attitude was then, and is now, that if we can educate ourselves and educate others, while providing great services to the community, we would continue to be successful.

Eleven years later, I can say that I have been blessed with a loyal, dedicated, and artistic team. Many of them are like family to me. I have also been blessed with great clients and friends. All of you have contributed in our success or you wouldn’t be receiving this newsletter. Whatever your role has been with Salon Rage, I want to thank you with all my heart.

Today I want to tell you about my next endeavor. I am extremely excited about it. I have decided to relocate Salon Rage to a new location with a new name. Most branding companies would say that you never change your name after you are established, but as usual, I believe in doing what feels right, not what is said to be right. The new salon will be called Riah Hair Studio. Salon Rage -although it is an acronym for Right Attitude and Great Experience does not seem to exemplify who we are to the public that doesn’t know what it stands for. I wanted to rename Salon Rage a few years ago but the timing wasn’t right. Now the timing is perfect. Riah (pronounced Rye Ah) is my daughter’s nickname and ironically spelled in reverse is Hair. Riah (Riley) and Hair are the two passions in my life. The Studio ends the name because it is exactly what Riah Hair Studio is. It is an intimate social space with boutique flair.

We are open in both locations (both Salon Rage and Riah Hair Studio) until around May 28th, unless otherwise notified. Please make sure to sign up for our email updates on our website at http://www.salonrage.net to stay current on what’s happening. After May 28th, we will be completely relocated to our new Studio space at 3488 York Road in Furlong in the Village Center. If you are wondering where Furlong is, I can clarify. It is about a 15 minute drive from Salon Rage. The Studio is on the corner of York Road and Edison Furlong Road. A few landmark stores in the immediate area are Hendrixson’s Furniture, Cornerstone Gym, Furlong Lamp Company, Artefacts and the Back to the 50’s hot pink diner. It is convenient to Newtown, Richboro, New Hope, Buckingham, Doylestown, Southampton and most of Bucks County. It has a great big parking lot that is super easy to get in and out of.

I am hoping that we have the opportunity to continue to see you in our new space and provide you with the right attitude and great experience as we have always strived to do. If you have any questions please feel comfortable contacting me directly on my cell 215-499-2209 or by email at donnaroggio@salonrage.net.

Sincerely,

Donna Roggio Straff

About RIAH Hair Studio

How We Came to Be . . . RIAH Hair Studio In May 2011, the former Salon Rage of Southampton, Pennsylvania relocated to a new space and changed their name to RIAH Hair Studio. RIAH? (pronounced 'Rye-Ah') Yes, it's "hair" spelled in reverse. Donna originally established Salon RAGE in March 1999. The salon delivered comprehensive hair services to the surrounding communities. As a seasoned beauty industry professional for over 29 years, Donna believed in education, not only for her stylists, but for her clients as well. This prompted her to open this first salon where she could foster such a dynamic environment. After 10+ years in Southampton and a desire to move closer to her family, in 2011 she relocated her business to Furlong, Pennsylvania in the heart of Bucks County. Re-emerging as RIAH Hair Studio, Donna has created a modern, contemporary, urban loft design experience located on the corner of York Rd & Edison-Furlong Roads, at the Village Corner in Buckingham Township. RIAH Hair Studio is an intimate boutique salon that is relaxing, comfortable & social, providing the "Right Attitude" from the team resulting in a "Great Experience" for their clients. It's the "RAGE" she carefully develops to this day. The stylists are continually certified in the latest hair techniques (color, cut, design, styles, tools, products, and fashion trends). Their clients, female, male, young or mature, enjoy the benefits of this extensive training. Additionally, they are taught how to re-create and maintain their RIAH experience until the next appointment. It makes RIAH Hair Studio stand out as one of the most referred-to salons in Bucks County! When we have the opportunity to see you in our new space, we'll provide you with the "Right Attitude & Great Experience" as we have always strived to do. Happy Day! from Donna & the Team at RIAH Hair Studio View all posts by RIAH Hair Studio
